HORIZONTE
SKYLINE
The premise is to create an installation on a shelf at a height of 4.5m. The space was imposing as it was in the center of the house. The good thing is that it was going to be very present (highly visible from all parts), and the bad thing is that it was going to be very present (it could be somewhat invasive). So, I considered hiding the work and only revealing it at certain moments.
A piece that appears and disappears. It disappears through mimesis with the space, but what is it that appears? Creating a viewpoint inside your home, a space where one could contemplate a landscape from afar. A shelf with books, during the day the piece is integrated into the space, and at night those books become the skyline of a city living within the shelf.
The piece has three modes: during the day without light where books are visible on the shelf, at night when it lights up and the city appears, and a more intimate moment when the shelf is turned off and you can only contemplate the illuminated skyline.
