VISUAL DESIGN FOR 'EL MUNDO DE LA TARÁNTULA'
Design of the visuals displayed in the theater play 'El mundo de la Tarántula' by Pablo Carbonell.For this show, we emphasized the narrative through the use of visual elements that appear throughout the performance. The play, which falls between monologue and musical, candidly narrates Carbonell's life journey from childhood to his most recent projects, all with a sense of humor. The starting point was to design a graphic world, and we worked on coloring and animating archival material. The play concludes with a handmade animation piece depicting the author's memories in an infinite scroll.
