PROPS FOR THE CABALGATA DE REYES IN MADRID 2016
On January 5th, their Majesties the Three Wise Men arrived in Madrid via the Paseo de la Castellana. They appeared on their floats accompanied by their entourage, and we imagined the objects they carried as they made their way.

Melchor, known for his interests in astronomy, leads us to gold, to the air, to movement, to metal, to kinetic art, and to balance. Therefore, we designed two types of hanging golden elements with movement.

King Gaspar is a magician associated with alchemy and materials such as water, smoke, glass, gunpowder, or incense. So, we characterized these objects through the geometric shapes of alchemical symbols, in addition to the color blue complemented by red.

Balthasar is the shaman, symbolized by earth, wood, and fire. His entourage carries more organic elements such as trees with shiny ribbons resembling leaves. The color we used was green complemented by pink.

The ensemble is coordinated with the textures and colors of the floats and the costumes of the Royal Processions.
